A CLEAR STARTING POINT

A small crossing.
A sensible starting price.

Impact moling from £800 + VAT (£960 including VAT), with the final scope confirmed for your site.

THE DAY PACKAGE

From £800 + VAT

For a straightforward route of up to 12 metres, completed within a single day, with two pits excavated in virgin ground.

  • One day of impact moling, up to 12m
  • Two moling pits in virgin ground
  • Basic pipe or ducting
  • Backfilling of the two pits

£960 including VAT. Subject to route assessment, suitable ground, access and the agreed installation specification.

What changes the price?

Longer routes are priced by the metre and by the number of launch and reception pits needed. Access, obstructions, buried services and the pipe or duct specification also matter.

Excavating through existing paving, concrete or tarmac, and any specialist surface reinstatement, need a separate allowance. The starting package covers pits in virgin ground and backfill.

The pipe or duct

We typically install pipe or duct up to 40mm outside diameter. Larger runs can be assessed. Basic pipe or ducting is included in the starting package; unusual specifications are subject to availability and may carry minimum-length charges.

Access to the equipment

The compressor can typically be positioned up to 30m from the launch pit. Smaller moles can run from our compact compressor, which is 800mm wide. Larger moles require a road-towable compressor and at least 1500mm access, with the turning space and working area also checked.

The wider installation

The moling quotation defines the underground route. Electrical connections, charger commissioning, public water-main connections, plumbing connections, testing and utility coordination need separately agreed responsibilities. We will establish where our scope starts and finishes before you book.

Booking the work

Call-outs require a 30% deposit. We confirm the proposed route, included work, exclusions and booking terms before attendance is booked.
